A live sports prediction market updates while a game is in progress. Market prices can move when participants react to scoring, time remaining, injuries and other information, but the game feed, broadcast and confirmed execution can arrive at different times.
Before the call
The fan needs the current score, period or inning, game clock, available sides, current prices, chosen amount and estimated return. The decision should be readable without opening a separate chart or order book.
After the call
The experience changes from choosing to watching. The confirmed side and entry context stay visible while the game and current market develop.
The original fill does not change after confirmation. A new market price shows what the market currently believes; it does not rewrite the confirmed terms or declare a win before settlement.
Why timing must remain honest
Game data, market data, order confirmation and a viewer's broadcast are separate streams. They may not update at the same instant.
A production system should use the confirmed fill time and price, disclose pauses or delays and avoid implying perfect synchronization with television or streaming coverage.
When live calls may be unavailable
An operator can pause or close a market because of game state, data uncertainty, order conditions, contract rules or regulatory requirements. A clear product should show that state instead of accepting an intent it cannot execute.
4Call currently offers a working product demo with simulated funds. Live market access requires an approved market operator.
Questions that matter.
Why does a live sports market price change?
Participants react to the score, time remaining and new information. Available bids, asks and matched transactions change the displayed market.
Does a higher price mean my call has won?
No. The outcome is not decided until the operator resolves the contract under its published rules.
Why might a live market pause?
Operators may pause markets around scoring events, data uncertainty, game interruptions or other conditions defined by their rules.
Will 4Call always match my television feed?
No product should promise that. Broadcast, game-data, market-data and order-confirmation timing can differ.
